Starting 1 July 2025, the NDIS has introduced new Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits to support a fairer, more sustainable disability services system.
What is changing in NDIS pricing from 1 July 2025?
From 1 July 2025, the NDIS is introducing updated Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits across several core support categories.
These changes are part of the NDIA’s annual pricing review, designed to:
- Maintain fairness across services for participants and providers
- Reflect market conditions, including workforce costs and service demand
- Support sustainability within the NDIS funding model
- Improve consistency in access to essential supports
Every year, the NDIA adjusts pricing to better align with participant needs, economic changes, and national standards.
Support worker pay limits have increased by 3.95%
The new pricing includes a 3.95% increase to support worker price limits.
This change reflects adjustments made by the Fair Work Commission to minimum award wages, helping to maintain quality and workforce stability in frontline disability support.
Early childhood NDIS support is now extended to under-9s
Children under the age of 9 are now eligible for early childhood NDIS supports.
Previously, eligibility ended at age 7. This update gives families a longer window to access developmental support during critical growth stages.
Psychology services now have a national price
A single national pricing structure has been introduced for psychology services.
This removes regional price differences and ensures consistent access to mental health support across all locations.
Allied health and therapy supports have revised pricing
The NDIS has adjusted pricing for services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and dietetics.
These changes aim to reflect current market trends and geographic service demands.
Providers must meet clearer responsibilities
New rules set out stronger expectations for NDIS providers.
These include stricter transparency requirements and more transparent processes for declaring conflicts of interest.
The goal is to ensure that ethical and participant-focused care is provided across all services.
Will participant funding change automatically?
Yes. Participant plan budgets will be automatically adjusted from mid-July 2025.
There is no need for you to take immediate action. However, this is a good time to review your supports, plan goals, and current service providers.
