Leinency

About Leinency

Leniency has a Cert 3 in individual support and can speak Indonesian, Mandarin and English. She loves watching tv and finds disability support to be a rewarding job.

Celeste

About Celeste

Celeste has a Cert 4 in Disability, with 9 years of experience in aged care, 3 years as SIL manager and 15 years experience as house supervisor. She loves cars and her taking her horse out to shows.

Cherie

About Cherie

Cherie has 10 years of experience in disability support and has a nurturing and caring nature. She loves being tested on her knowledge of Australian history and has a passion for keeping things organised!

Kamalpati

About Kamalpati

Kamalpati has a Certificate 4 in disability. He loves that his work allows him to help clients overcome their barriers and reduce any sense of loneliness they may feel. Kamalpati can speak Nepali and Englsih and enjoys spending time with his kids and relatives.

Nahima

About Nahima

Nahima has a Cert 4 in Disability, with past experience teaching in mainstream education and working within the disability sector. She can speak Bangla as well as English, and has a passion for adaptive sports. She also loves exploring nature, going on hikes, and spending time with friends and family.

Pashupati

About Pashupati

Pashupati has a Cert 4 in Disability, with previous experience as a chef. He loves cooking and playing soccer and can speak English, Nepali and Hindi.

Sahil

About Sahil

Sahil has a Cert 4 in Disability, with previous experience as a mechanic in automotive companies. He spends his free time weightlifting and volunteering at the gym as a trainer for young kids. Sahil can speak Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil and English and loves Liverpool!

Sakina

About Sakina

Sakina has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, currently working as a teaching assistant who is also involved in artistic activities. She can speak Persian, Urdu, Hindi and English and enjoys reading and walking.

Shyam

About Shyam

Shyam has a Cert 4 in Disability, previously working as a chef. He speaks Nepali, Newari, Hindi and English and enjoys driving, playing sports and travelling to new places.

Suraj

About Suraj

With a Cert 4 in Disability, Suraj has 15 years of experience as a community support worker, and 8 years of delivery driver work at major grocery chains. He appreciates that his job allows him to make changes in clients’ lives by being there for them in both tough and happy times. Suraj can speak Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, German and English and loves walking his dog and watching the tennis or Netflix.

I enjoy working with my team, and getting to create connections with the wonderful clients we have.

Helping my clients to live more independent and again to feel that they are part of the society by enabling them to participate in duties at home like doing dishes and some other house chores.

I enjoy the fact that I help people with disability have a fulfilled day. The fact that through my services, they can enjoy their day normally, access the community and achieve their goals.

Bringing happiness and peace of mind to those vulnerable in the community. And making their life easier which is rewarding. Enjoying watching their participation in the society.

Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families, as well as the opportunity to contribute to their well-being.

Helping and caring for someone. Makes my day knowing someone is feeling good because of me.

I enjoy my job, and seeing our participants grow and achieve those little gains is amazing to see. What I also love my about my job is having that real connection to the community and truly knowing that we're making a difference and supporting people at different stages at their life.
