Sean Moraes is a Director at Help at Hand Support. He is strongly committed to empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives. With nearly six years of experience in the disability sector, Sean has worked across a range of roles, from hands-on support work to managing complex care needs. His journey into this field reflects his passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
Before entering the disability sector, Sean built a solid foundation in finance and business, holding a Double Degree in International Hospitality Management and Business (Accounting). This unique blend of skills gives him a strategic perspective on delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Sean founded Help at Hand Support in 2020, driven by a vision to create a service that prioritises participants’ independence, choice, and dignity. Today, the team boasts over 60 years of combined experience, offering a wealth of knowledge to ensure every participant receives exceptional care.
Outside of work, Sean is a proud dad to three children and loves spending quality time with his family. He’s passionate about basketball, enjoys hitting the gym, and is a self-proclaimed foodie, especially when it comes to trying new dishes and savouring a great steak! His favourite NBA team is the Houston Rockets, thanks to stars like Steven Adams and KD.
