Our Melton Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses are ideal solution for your new home, especially if your goal is to become more independent and you are open to living with others in the home. Properties are currently available with immediate capacity. We are taking expressions of interest, and would love to hear from you about what it is that you want in your SIL home.

What is there to love about our
Melton SIL homes?
These single-storey SIL properties are designed with Robust and High Physical support in mind. One home is able to house two participants with Onsite Overnight Assistance (OOA), as two separate residences under one roof.
Each residence comes with bedrooms for both the participant and your carer, with broad open space access to the living, dining and kitchen area. The properties also offers an attached garage with two parking spaces and the addition of a private, protected backyards.

Our Melton properties are designed to help you live your life with more independence. We will assist you to help build your independence with the support of HAHS Staff.

Tell me more about the supports I can receive in my SIL home?
Help at Hand Support services will work with you to provide you with a support plan that meets your NDIS goals and needs. We will do our best to help develop your skills to live more independently in your home. We have a team of experienced support workers who can assist you with a range of tasks such as:
- Going out Shopping
- Meal preparation assistance
- Participation in the community
- Personal care
- Transport assistance
- Household chores
- Daily skills training and development
- Attending Day Programs
What are the next steps?
There is a bit of journey to go through for SIL
- Give us a call to speak to the team on 1300 822 190
- Meet with a Care Coordinator in person or online to understand and discuss your needs
- We will then work with you and your support coordinator to work out your needs and create a Roster of Care
- We submit your Roster of Care to the NDIA for approval
- We then complete documentation and agreements
- Move into your new home and receive services to live independently
