Help at Hand Support Services was proud to attend the Campbelltown Community Disability Expo 2026, organised by Disability Events Community. Held at Wests League Club in Leumeah, this highly anticipated annual event brought together NDIS participants, families, carers, support workers, support coordinators and disability service providers from across the Campbelltown and Southwest Sydney region.
What is Campbelltown Community Disability Expo
The Campbelltown Community Disability Expo is one of the most valued disability community events in South West Sydney. It provides a dedicated space where people living with disability, their families and carers can explore local NDIS services, connect with trusted disability providers and access practical information in a welcoming, face-to-face environment.
For NDIS participants navigating the complexities of disability support, events like this play a crucial role in building informed choice, confidence and genuine community connection.
A Community Coming Together in Campbelltown
From the moment the doors opened, the energy at Wests League Club was warm, inclusive and full of purpose.
Families arrived seeking guidance on NDIS support options. Participants came looking for disability services that truly aligned with their goals, lifestyles and individual needs. Support workers, coordinators and providers spent the day networking, sharing knowledge and building the kind of meaningful relationships that lead to better outcomes for the people they support.
What stood out most was the irreplaceable value of face-to-face connection. In the disability sector, being seen, heard and understood is not just a nice experience, it is foundational to good support.
Coffee, Conversations and Community Connection
A special thank you to Holistic Care Aus for generously providing free barista-made coffee to the first 200 attendees. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the day: relaxed, welcoming and community focused.
Some of the most meaningful moments happened in the spaces between formal conversations: families sharing their experiences navigating the NDIS, participants talking openly about their goals for independence, and carers finding connection with others who truly understood their journey.
These human moments are exactly why community disability expos matter.
Real Conversations That Create Real Change
Throughout the day, the Help at Hand Support Services team had the privilege of speaking with:
- NDIS participants at various stages of their support journey
- Parents and family members searching for the right disability services for their loved ones
- Support coordinators and industry professionals working to improve outcomes across the disability sector
Every conversation reinforced the same core values that guide our work: personalised support, informed choice and community connection.
The expo was never just about distributing information. It was about listening deeply, understanding individual circumstances and building relationships that continue to grow long after the event ends.
Proud Sponsor of the Campbelltown Disability Expo 2026
It was a privilege for Help at Hand Support Services to come on board as a sponsor of this year’s Campbelltown Community Disability Expo, joining fellow sponsors Scope Disability Services and Holistic Care Aus in making the event possible.
Sponsoring events like this goes beyond brand visibility for us. It reflects our genuine belief that strong communities are built through face-to-face connection, shared knowledge and mutual support. When people living with disability, their families and carers have access to trusted local providers in one welcoming space, real change happens.
We are proud to invest in events that matter — and the Campbelltown Community Disability Expo is exactly that. An event that connects people, opens doors and reminds everyone in attendance that they are not navigating their NDIS journey alone.
Huge Thank You to Disability Events Community
A sincere thank you to Disability Events Community for once again for organising a highly successful expo that creates real value for the Campbelltown disability community. DEC consistently delivers well-organised, inclusive and impactful events that bring together NDIS participants, families, carers and disability providers in one welcoming space. Events like this are essential for connecting people with the services and supports available to them locally, strengthening the disability sector and empowering participants to make informed choices about their NDIS journey. We are proud to be part of the DEC community and look forward to attending future expos across Southwest Sydney and beyond.
