Support That Fits Around the Participant’s Routine

A participant may need more than one type of support during a typical week.

Personal care may form part of a morning or evening routine. Community assistance may help with shopping, appointments or social participation. Transport support may be needed to reach funded activities, while other participants may require High Intensity Support delivered by appropriately trained workers.

What Is Outside Our Disability Support Scope?

Help at Hand Support Services provides disability support services and does not provide medical treatment, clinical care, therapy services, pharmacy services, hospital-based medical services, emergency medical care or allied health service delivery.

Where another qualified professional has developed approved instructions relevant to a participant’s support, trained workers may follow those instructions where appropriate to their role and support arrangement.
