Managing a budget at the best of times can be confusing and daunting. Help at Hand Support Services understands the need for our NDIS participants to fully understand how their money is used. We take the time to understand what your goals are and what you are trying to achieve. We are not financial advisers nor can we give you any financial advice. What we can provide is assistance to help you understand what your expenses are and what your income is so that you can have an understanding of what is achievable.
We will help you fill in a budget and assist you in managing this on a regular basis. Our participants have found that doing this on a monthly basis helps keep things in check. The best part is if you have money left over you can choose what you want to do with it!
We also provide coaching throughout the journey to help you gain independence should you want to do the budgeting on your own. We are especially proud of our clients who tell us how amazing it feels to do it all on their own. We can then help ensure that the numbers add up and give them a big green tick. Our coaching also helps with positive reinforcement, understanding when things do not go as planned and listening to what you want to do.
